BACKGROUND

Jeremy made his car racing debut at the start of the 2005 Formula Renault UK Championship season at just 17-years-of-age, bringing with him a reputation as one of the best home-grown karters in the recent history of the British Championships.

His first major success in karting came with the 2000 British Cadet Championship title, a mere four years after his debut, before going on to make a name for himself on the continent as a consistent front-runner in the European Formula ICA Championship.

Jeremy’s crowning glory though arrived in 2003 after winning the world-renowned Parma Industrials Formula A Championship – a title previously held by numerous star names including current Formula One driver Giancarlo Fisichella.

The same year, he finished third overall in the highly competitive British Formula ICA Championship and then in 2004 he was again classified third overall, but this time in the blue riband British Formula A Championship.

He also impressed in the highly prestigious 2004 South Garda Winter Cup, finishing eighth, and was sixth overall in the Italian Formula A Championship during a glittering senior-level karting career guided by former World Karting Champion Terry Fullerton.

After electing to progress his career into single-seater racing, Jeremy made the leap into Formula Renault UK in 2005 and after tackling the steep learning curve well in the main championship season, he signed for front-running squad Team AKA ahead of the 2005 winter series.

Having finished the four-round series joint-eighth in the driver standings, with a pole position and dominant race victory to his credit, Jeremy looked forward to the 2006 Formula Renault UK Championship as a realistic and genuine challenger with the rebranded AKA Lemac team.

As a consistent front-runner, the Fleet teenager secured four podium finishes throughout the course of the year and went on to end only his second ever season in cars fifth overall in the world's most competitive junior single-seater category.

Furthermore, Jeremy was also victorious in the battle for the prestigious Donington Park Racing Association Club Cup after becoming the highest scoring British driver over the course of the four FRUK rounds to be held at the Leicestershire venue. Impressively, his superb race performances also earned Jeremy a finalist's place in the 2006 McLaren Autosport BRDC Award.

Beginning his third and final season of Formula Renault UK with the news he had been awarded BRDC 'Rising Star' status, Jeremy went on to achieve two race victories and three other podiums on his way to another solid top five placing in the 2007 championship standings.

In January 2008, Jeremy was hand-picked by producers from Channel 4 and Endemol to star in the inaugural series of brand new reality TV format Big Brother: Celebrity Hijack. After a month locked away in the world-famous Big Brother house at Elstree Studios, Jeremy fought his way into the Grand Final and ended the show a highly respectable fifth overall.

With his BB experience behind him, Jeremy elected to embark on his maiden season of sportscar racing with the CR Scuderia team in the Avon Tyres British GT Championship. At the wheel of a Ferrari 430 in the GT3 Class, teaming-up with Luke Hines, Jeremy swapped the short, sprint race format of Formula Renault UK for the endurance based world of GT competition.

Enjoying a superbly successful first year of GT action, Jeremy and Luke ended the 14-round campaign as Vice-Champions with two race wins, four other podiums and two pole positions.
